WEARABLE ACOUSTICS

Welcome to our research website

We are developing bio-integrated acoustic technology to build wearable imaging and therapeutic tools that could non-invasively image and regulate biological functions in deep tissue environment. Our technology leverages molecular engineering, solid mechanics, nanomanufacturing, acoustic engineering, and artificial intelligence to build bio-integrated imaging and therapeutic tool to interact with biological tissue with high spatial & temporal resolution in a non-invasive and long-term manner. A notable feature of our technology is its direct applicability/translation to humans.

One of our latest exemplary innovation is Bioadhesive Ultrasound (BAUS) Technology, which could perform continuous, on-the-go, high-quality imaging of the human body major organs, including blood vessels, muscle, heart, gastrointestinal tract, diaphragm, and lung for several days. The BAUS device could enable clinical diagnostics for monitoring wide ranges of tissue/organs and diseases development over time.

We deeply believe non-invasive, high-resolution, and long-term med/biotech could bring the biggest revolution to society. Our mission is to develop such disruptive technology that could solve grand challenges in medicine and fundamental biology.
